This project is to trace the community of Royal, FL ancestors. They were people who created a community called Picketsville and later name Royal. This community has now become split between Wildwood, FL and Oxford, FL and the elders are dying off. In order to connect their rich culture to the Gullah Geechee of South Carolina, it is imperitve to get those who are left to DNA for ancestry.
