About us
The study begins with a baseline of the major family lines of descent from the person known as "Immigrant" John Grigsby (born 1624, died 1730) and expands with the following objectives:
1. Provide a baseline of data for the major Grigsby (or variant) family lines in the United States
2. Verify assumptions and conjectures for various lines of descent
3. Provide opportunities to connect independent lines of descent
4. Target the direction of future genealogical research
5. Provide possible connection to "Immigrant" John Grigsby's origin in England
6. Position the organization to connect with other lines throughout the world
The study would prefer that members use the 67-marker test, but will accept tests of 12, 25, 37 or 67 markers.
