See Y-DNA results by Haplogroup. For this project, we have organized its members by their Y-DNA results, using their haplogroup as the primary grouping. See the web links provided with each sub-group for the FTDNA or other web site page that explains the origins of that particular haplogroup. 

For members in the R1b1 haplogroup (Western Europe/UK group) and whose Y-DNA results are also within a 2-3 marker match to other members with a known ancestry that they believe includes Benjamin Goodman or New Kent / Hanover VA or one of his known sons, they are assigned to a dedicated grouping for those members. If you do not agree with the grouping assigned to your results, please contact the group administrator.
