This project is to determine the relationship of the Goheen families. Research has shown that John Goheen immigrated about 1719 to Philadelphia. A split in the family during the Revolutionary was divided the family into loyalist and patriots who eventually went there separate ways. The origin of The Goheen family has a variety of theories, non that have original evidence documenting their origin.
