On 1/28/2010 the Giordano Name Project was created.
An announcement email was sent to members of the Sicily Project on the same date. Plans are in place to publicize the projects to other groups in the near future.
On 2/01/2010 an announcement and invitation to join this surname project was extended to members of the Italy DNA Group of Google.
