We know of Guse families living in Posen, Pomerania and Silesia in the 19th century and have found limited record from the earlier centuries. Today the Guse name is widely scattered throughout Germany and on every Continent.  We are not sure if this is an origin for the name Geise and perhaps Guise.  There are very few individuals matching with these surnames.
