Hello, this project is to determine and categorize families with surnames similar to Freiss.   My goal is to try and assist others in determining their genetic lineage.  Preferably from the Alsace Lorraine region.

Their children: Johannes Georges Freiss born 1743 Marlenheim, Bas-Rhin, France.  Died 4 March 1823 Marlenheim.  Married Elizabeth Vogt born 1740 Marlenheim and Died 16 March 1800 Marlenheim.

Kit 67305: Descends from here with their son,

Francois Antoine Freiss born 27 November 1772 Marlenheim and died 22 January 1845 in Marlenheim.  Francois married his second wife Marie Aurelio Kling.

Then from Francois it goes to Laurent Bernard Freiss born 6 April 1815 in Marlenheim, and died 16 April 1855 in Galena, Illinois, USA

Then John Frice born 16 July 1854 in Galena, Illinois, USA and died 20 April 1909 Orchards, Clark, Washington, USA

Then Forest Frice born 5 August 1892 Ladonia , Fannin, Texas, USA and Died 17 February 1961 Vancouver, Clark, Washington, USA
