This DNA Project is for living descendents of John Folsom and Mary Gilman with emphasis on connecting some of our Folsom cousins who have no link with the current genealogy. Emphasis is also on connecting the Choctaw and Chickasaw Folsoms with a defined branch of the Folsoms. Though this project is primarily a Y-chromosome(direct paternal line) study, those interested in mtDNA (direct maternal line) or autosomal (Family Finder) are welcome.
