This project welcomes all male participants with the surnames Flick, Fleck, Fleek, and any other variant of these names. Our goal is to find connections between the various family lines in the U.S., Europe and elsewhere, and to help participants understand more about the ancient origins of their paternal ancestors.

As females do not carry the Y-DNA, this project is unfortunately for male participants only. We encourage females in the Flick, Fleck, Fleek families interested in testing their mtDNA to contribute to geographical mtDNA projects from where they believe their maternal ancestors originated.
