The Third International Conference on Genetic Genealogy for Surname Administrators will held November 3-4, 2006 in Houston, TX. I plan to attend.
We have many lines we could test as it is wise to test at least two descendants from each line to get a true picture of our ancestor's DNA.
Descendants of any Ftizhugh (and variant spellings, regardless of country of origin) are needed for testing. Here are only a few lines that have not been tested to date.
(1) Descendants of William Fitzhugh, the immigrant to Virginia about 1673.
(2) Fitzhugh family of Dorchestor Co, MD
(3) Kingsthorpe, England Fitzhughs which may include theDescendants of Thomas Fitzhugh who married Priscilla Drew in Southampton Co, VA about 1769 and Fitzhugh family who immigrated to the NY area from England in the mid 1800s.
(4) The Fitzhugh family descending from Edward E. Fitzhugh (not a Virginia Fitzhugh).
(5) Other unassigned Fitzhughs.
