Any variant of the FILER, FYLER, FILAR, FALER surname, worldwide. Do these families have common roots or are there mulitple family origins? There seem to be lines in the United States that originated from Canada, England, Wales, Germany. The Filer line has been difficult to research, in spite of the fact that this is a fairly rare line.
