Y-DNA testing has confirmed that the Felix surname has multiple origins. Members report ancestry from France, Scotland, Spain, Mexico, and Ecuador.

Project goals:

• Assist members with understanding their DNA results
• Group and analyze Y-SNP and Y-STR results
• Investigate surname origins and migration paths
• Identify common ancestors and paternal lineage

If you are a Felix male, please order a Y-DNA test (Y-37, Y-111, or Big Y).  Females and related males who don't carry the Felix surname should order the Family Finder test. Females should ask a male Felix relative to take a Y-DNA test. Please contact an administrator if you need help with ordering.
