We are very interested in recruiting anyone with the surname of Fehlberg, Vehlberg, Wahlberg, or any other similar surnames.  My own Fehlberg line likely came with the Swedish army to Pommern, Prussia, in the 1600s, and emigrated to America in 1891.  We recruited another participant who also traces their Fehlberg ancestry back to Pommern and that emigrated to America in about 1890.  Our lines very closely match suggesting common Fehlberg ancestry in the last few hundred years.  Our Fehlberg line belongs to YDNA haplogroup R1a and our 12-marker haplotype is intriguingly identical to that of Somerled.    Further details on the results and participants in this study can also be found at the following website:  http://www.brian-hamman.com/FehlbergYDNAresults.htm
