The Farrar DNA Project is a YDNA project that is open to those who are interested in working together to find their common heritage through sharing of information and YDNA testing. All variant spellings are welcome. If your Surname is missing, we'll be glad to add it. But this a YDNA Surname project, not a Family Finder project, and a requirement is to have a male with an appropriate surname test their YDNA. If there is no male to test or no male tests his Farrar Farrow or similar DNA then the applicant will be removed from membership. If the applicant is a descendant of the Farrar's Island Farrars and has tested autosomal DNA then they should join the Farrar's Island project.
