Welcome! This project is for any and all males having the surname Edsall, Edsell, Edsel or other variants. Most Edsalls in the US are descendants of the immigrant Samuel Edsall born ~1634 of Reading, England who arrived on the ship Tryall. He has literally millions of descendants over time. Another group of Edsalls descend from more recent Edsall immigrants from Breamore, England. Although Breamore and Reading are but 60-some miles apart, at the time of this project's inception there appears to be no relation between the Reading and Breamore Edsalls.
