This project has been set up by the EAST Family History Society. The society is based in the UK with members worldwide. The society holds a data base relating to the surname EAST and some variants. The DNA results obtained in this project will be added to the society database and may be published in its journal 'Points East' and on the website above. All applicants are asked to order the 37 marker Y DNA test.
