Goals

The Society for German Genealogy in Easter Europe (SGGEE) is interested in assisting its members discover their roots.  Participants in the Family Finder project will be able to sort their Family Finder matches by members of this project.  To do this you will use Advanced Matching on your home page and then select this project for the database.  Only participants in this project will then show up.  This can be useful if you wish to see who of your matches comes from Poland/Ukraine and is German. To be most effective we need people with this background to join this project so please encourage your German matches to join this project.

As time goes on and we learn more about our ancestors, our goals may change.  We will be communicating with the members of this project through emails.
