This project is intended to map the distribution of various subclades of Y haplogroup E-M35 in the British Isles and Ireland. If you are of British or Irish descent in the lineal male ancestry (Y chromosome) and can identify exactly or approximately where in the British Isles your most distant ancestor lived, then we would like to have you join us! Please note that this is NOT the E-M35 Phylogeny Project! Our focus is strictly on male British/Irish lines, whereas the E-M35 Phylogeny Project is for any national or ethnic origin.
