About us
All members of Family A share a common haplogroup that arose about 1731 CE. This aligns with the approximate birth year for William Dykes.
Dykes Family B would benefit from all members upgrading to Big-Y700 to identify an approximate birth date for their common ancestor.
Family C would benefit from both members upgrading to Big-Y700 to identify an approximate birth date for their common ancestor.
The one Dykes member from Scotland of Family D matches with a large Watson family also from Scotland, with a common ancestor born approximately 1335 CE. No other project members yet appear to represent the same Dykes family, providing no indication of a broken lineage by NPE. This Dykes member would benefit from upgrading to a Big-Y700 to place his ancestors among this Watson line.
