The Duran family is encouraging all persons to join the DuranFamilyTree project; Persons eligible to join are those who have the Duran surname and variant spelling or who have male descendants of the Duran family but have had a name change for whatever reason. Females with the Duran surname are welcome to join, however only their mtDNA is traceable. The Duran project is a relatively new project that is growing continuously. Every member who joins make it that much more interesting and possible for others to gain new knowledge into their ancestral past.
