About us
Y-DNA
- FTDNA, ISOGG and YFull Y-Tree rendering on the Y-DNA Classic Chart page (Must join the project and be logged in to see the results)
- Note that your kit will not be placed further down the trees than your FTDNA or project admin haplogroup assignment - The script can't guess your non-FTDNA tested SNPs or YFull kit number
- You can also run the Y-Tree script on any project group's Y-DNA results that you have access to, by creating a bookmarklet (browser bookmark) with the following settings and execute it on the project's Y-DNA Classic Chart page:
- Name: Dnagen Y-DNA Results Tree
- URL: javascript:(function(){$.getScript('https://dnagen.net/js/groupy.js', function() { initMap(); });})();
- Member statistics using Google Charts on the Y-DNA results page (Bundled in the same script as above)
- Project admin subclade overrides on the Y-DNA results page - Assign kits to more specific subclades using Member Subgrouping.
- Subgroup Name should contain "Haplogroup a1b2c3..." (ISOGG format) and/or "Haplogroup A-N123" (FTDNA/YFull shorthand format)
- SNP results from the project Y-DNA SNPs page are available as tooltips
- YFull kits are shown next to the FTDNA kits on the YFull Experimental tree
