The Dickens Surname Project is primarily a Y-DNA project but is open to all descendants willing to share research and participate in DNA testing. All spelling variants are welcome. The project seeks direct male surname descendants of famed English author Charles Dickens (1812-1870) and his father John Dickens (1785–1851) for Y-DNA testing.
