The Dertinger/Derdinger project welcomes all who are interested in illuminating any potential common roots for the rather rare, originally German surname Derdinger, Dertinger, Terdinger, Tertinger (which are very likely just different spelling variants). While there already exists a database based on "classical" genealogical research (see http://www.dertinger.de/), this DNA project tries to approach this topic from the scientific side.
