Our strongest Denning family descends from E-M35 (E1b1b1-M35). Two Dinning matches show strong signs of that name being a variant of this branch, with a less strong match being Dunning. All members of this family would benefit with having further upgrades to Big-Y700 to confirm these variants, and place them amongst the standard Denning branches. Being the strongest family in terms of members on this group project, it is possibly the oldest representative lineage of this name.
Our second strongest Denning family descends from T-M70 (T1a). There seems to be a Doane match. Members of this group would benefit from further Big-Y700 testing for stronger confirmation and dating.
Our third strongest Denning family descends from R-M269 (R1b1a1b). This group would benefit from further Big-Y700 testing for stronger dating.
There are two separate, unrelated, Dinning families descended from R-M269 (R1b1a1b). These and all other families would benefit from further Big-Y700 testing.
