in 2003, with the help and support of Lani, an unproven genealogy cousin, I started this project to prove that our findings from decades of research were correct. We were successful and I now know for sure my place in the DeVore family tree. Up to a point ...
For many years after that several of us DeVore researchers worked together to use this project as a tool to expand our understanding of how the DeVore family lines fit together. Many of us were trying to find our emigrant ancestor or answer the age old question, where did we come from.
Then life got in the way, I took on a demanding job, and the project lagged. I regret the lost years but I just retired and I am ready to return to this work with a vengeance.
In preparation for that, in the next few weeks I will be studying the changes to FTDNA, developing the public website and trying to contact current members. I have lots of plans for the future, so please check back often or send me an email.
