Our goal is to attract additional Dakin family members who are interested in sharing family information and comparing DNA test results, in order to further extend our known family history, and learn more about our deep roots. The group has funds to help pay for a Y-DNA test for a suitable male UK resident of the Dakin surname.  Preferably, the English test candidate will have a known family tree of his English ancestry.
