The Cross Surname Project is primarily a Y-DNA project but is open to all descendants willing to share research and participate in DNA testing. All spelling variants are welcome. REQUIREMENTS FOR JOINING: Cross descendants must have Y-DNA and/or Family Finder results at FamilyTreeDNA in order to join. * Males with the Cross surname (or variant) should have Y-DNA test results from FamilyTreeDNA. * Males with other surnames who match Cross men in Y-DNA at Y-37 or higher are welcome to join. * Males and females with Cross ancestry within 5 generations may join with Family Finder results. * Administrators must be granted Limited access (the default and preferred) or Advanced access to your results. * To transfer autosomal DNA results from another company, please see FamilyTreeDNA’s transfer page. * ​​Predicted or confirmed Z198 positive kits will be added to the R-Z198 incl.
