The ultimate goal of my research is to compile and publish a family history of Hans Philip Kressler and his descendants. The Cressler DNA Project is being used to supplement traditional methods of genealogical research. My hope is that some currently unknown family members will find their way into the family history through the wonders of DNA science. In addition, years of research have failed to identify the parents and precise origin of Hans Philip Kressler. In the future, attempts will be made to extend the DNA project into Germany.
