The name Creasy, etc. can be found in France, England, and America in fairly high frequencies. The English Creasy/Creasey, etc. name seems to have originated around Yorkshire and also Sussex. American Creasys seem to have immigrated mainly to Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maine, and Massachusetts from England prior to 1700.
This project will help piece the groups back together and see if all the early French and English Creasy/Creasey's, etc. descend from a common male ancestor.
