The administrators and project receive no compensation for services or expenses involved with the project. All funds for tests are payable only and directly to Family Tree DNA. The Corbell surname DNA project will not be the recipient or steward of any DNA samples and has no responsibility for their care, handling or return to the participant. Each member's test and participation is their personal choice and responsibility. While a match between two participants may indicate that they share a common male ancestor, it will not identify the specific ancestor and there is no guarantee that every participant will match another participant. All questions and concerns about Family Tree DNA, their policies, and their testing practices should be addressed with their paid customer service staff. By participation in the project, the participant acknowledges and agrees to these understandings.
