Our goal is to link Coomers in the US. Many Coomer lines in the US go back to 1700s or 1600s; however, many of them were illiterate. There was a line from North Carolina, and another from Rhode Island. My line hit a brick wall in Stokes County NC 1821, but the Coomer family was in this Stokes County from the first census (1790).
