I was searching for the progenitor of my PEREZ DNA that led me to believe that the progenitor of my PEREZ DNA may possibly be the son of Emperor Isaac COMNENUS whose son adopted a PEREZ Surname, Pedro Perez (a Count) who was born in Toledo Spain. The 7th Spanish Governor (from Toledo Spain) Gomez Perez Dasmarinas went to the Philippines, 1590-1593, and has a son named Luis Perez Dasmarinas (from Toledo Spain) who also became a Governor and a Captain General of the Spanish Military assigned in the area of Luzon, Philippines. Gomez belonged to the Order of Santiago or St James and his son Luis belonged to the Order of Alcantara. My PEREZ family had lived in Luzon, Philippines also until we all immigrated to the USA and became US CITIZENS. A Spanish Catholic priest that regularly visited our family had told more than 2 family members that our PEREZ progenitor were of a royal noble lineage & some family members said the progenitor was a priest. The above description fits closely to what the Spanish Catholic priest said to more than one family member.
