This study continues to slowly grow with new participants. There continues to be great genetic diversity among those with the Coalson/Collson/Colson/Colston/Coulson surname. It is too early to make any conclusive statements other than recognizing genetically unrelated lines with British Isles ancestry.

A Neighbor-Joining Tree shows that, of the R1b study members, only the Adam Colson descendants are related in a genealogical time frame.
