WELCOME to our DNA Project! DNA testing is a great way to further your research! 

Please take some time to review and update the information in your kit at Family Tree DNA. 


THE PROJECT TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

If you do not agree with the following terms and conditions, you must remove your kit from this project immediately. 


Continuing as a project member constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. 


You decide what information you share in this project. 


It is your responsibility to study, understand, and configure the privacy and sharing settings for your information. 


Project Members and Administrators use information shared in this project to research genetic and genealogical relationships. 


Project Members and Administrators may publish papers, research, reports, and genealogies which include information shared in this project. 


You grant the Project Members and Administrators a perpetual, irrevocable, and unrestricted right to use information, including DNA data, that you share in this project. Uses may include publication of papers, research, reports, and genealogies. 


Within the limits allowed by applicable laws, you expressly acknowledge and agree that Project Administrators shall not be liable for any indirect, direct, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for goodwill, loss of profits, use, data, or other intangible losses(even if we have been informed of the possibility of such damages), resulting from your having joined, used, or participated in the project. 


You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Project Administrators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) resulting from your use or access to the project. 


If you have any concern or dispute about the project, you agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the Administrators. 


Project Administrators are unpaid volunteers. You understand that Administrators volunteer administration for this project is not their highest priority. Administrators might not always respond promptly to member requests. If you receive no response within a few days, try resending your message.
