The focus of the project will be to genetically connect Cartledge males (all spelling variations) to the English immigrant to America in 1683, Edmund Cartledge III, of Dronfield, Derby, England to William Penn's settlement in Pennsylvania. Additionally, confirming a connection with Cartledge male cousins still living in England today, the place of this family's origin.
