My earliest known ancestor was b.1794 in No. Ireland in the Belfast area. There are other Cardys I have found that go back to 1823 in Newtonards, Co. Down as well. I have found many Cardys/Cardeys in the UK, Canada, and the USA that come from N'Ards as well.
