The Goals for the Caldwell's of Cataloochee Project:

(1) To locate the common ancestor that links the Caldwell's of Haywood County, North Carolina and the other Caldwell lines of the Southern United States.
(2)  To determine the homeland of our common ancestor before coming to America.
