About us
The Bury Research Project's purpose is to identify unique Bury / Buri / Burri family lines.
Our focus is on Y-DNA, which only males can take to identify their Bury father's father's father's line, but we welcome others who have taken the Family Finder or MTNDA test that traces your mother's mother's line.
Please join if you wish to learn where your Bury / Buri /Burri ancestor came from.
Males taking a Y-DNA test will learn if your Bury line is English, French, Dutch, German, Swiss, Polish, etc.
You can also learn which other Bury families match yours, receiving an email each time you match a new Bury. There is no ongoing cost beyond your initial test, although you can always later upgrade your test to a higher level to get better results.
