The Burford surname project has been created in hopes of getting more people with the Burford surname to submit Y-DNA samples to FTDNA. People with similar surnames such as Buford and Bufford are also encouraged to test and join the group since the Burford name has had several variants in it's spelling over the last few hundred years.
