The goals of the Buckelew DNA Project are:
1. To determine whether all male Buckelews have a common ancestor.
2. To facilitate the exchange of information between Buckelews with matching Y-STR profiles.
3. To locate Buckelews in Scotland and/or elsewhere in northwest Europe and test them in the project to see whether they are related to U.S. Buckelews.
