About us
A Surname Project for Brysons and related surnames. Using DNA testing we:
1. Discover which family branches are genetically linked.
2. Identify the most remote common ancestor for each line.
3. Test theories regarding common ancestors.
4. Pinpoint areas for additional research.
5. Confirm existing research.
6. Test connections to related surnames.
Be advised that participants'identities and kit numbers will NOT be shown on our Project Website; however, for the purpose of identifying distinct genetic lines we DO share our results (see results page on our Website). To protect participants' privacy, our results are only shown in connection with distant ancestors(great great grandfather, etc.)
Each particpants is asked to at least supply information about the most remote ancestor of his line (Bryce, Bryceson, Bryson etc.)
