To find which families among the various BRO*M* [e.g. BROOM/E] surnames
are kin and which are not kin, i.e. to divide up BROOMs (of whatever
spelling) into sets, so that we can compare & share genealogical
research within each set of kin BROOMs in hopes of advancing our
ancestral research without wasting effort looking at genealogical
research of non-kin BROOMs & their locals.
