The surname Brice or Bryce appears in many parts of the British Isles. There are many variations of the name and thoughts on its origins. This project is distinguished from two other projects for Bruce (and the Scottish roots of Brice branch) and Bryson (which has a broader consideration of the French or earlier origins). This project concentrates on the possible origins in southwest England (such as Somerset County) and Wales.
