The Project started 11-23-2004. Sixteen participants have been tested as of January 2007, a good start. Of these, 10 have proved to be closely related. One had a different last name, although a Bradt descendant, and thus did not reflect the Bradt DNA. One Unknown did not have Bradt DNA, and one known Bradt apparently had an adoption in his ancestry which left him with different markers, although of course we still consider him a Bradt!
