It has always been assumed that anyone with the surname of Brabazon was related to others of that name. However, as many Brabazons didn't know their full lineages and the paper trails had often been less than fruitful it was decided to see if we could map the separate branches fo the family from Tudor times in Ireland. Another reason was an obscure reference to members of the O Brollaghain clan changing their name to Brabazon circa 1600.
