There are many Bozeman family lines in America that can trace their line back to the 1700's. But, with one exception, they all run into a brick wall. There were a number of Bozeman families that settled in America in the 1600's. In most cases, one or two generations are documented in the 1600's but all but one of these families have a missing generation in the 1700's. So, the goal of this project is to determine which of the various Bozeman family lines are descended from the same common ancestor. We should be able to determine how many common ancestors there are and perhaps someday we will be able to join the various families together in a comprehensive family tree.
