The Bodiford family in America seems to have originated in North Carolina in colonial North America. Persons with that surname or its variants then migrated to South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and further. However, connecting all the modern Bodifords to their historic branches is sometimes difficult and this project was started as an aid to those who wish to establish that they are descended from the Bodiford line and hopefully determine to which line they belong.
