Many BOAKs have successfully used Dorothy BOAK Panzer’s “The Beech Tree: a History and Genealogy of the Boake Family of England, Ireland, America and Canada from 1333-1970” research to help find and locate common ancestors. However, her research barely touches upon several BOAK lines including the parents, siblings and descendants of Robert BOAK, a flax farmer, owner of a linen weaving factory, and owner of a tannery in Ireland in the mid to late 1700’s. Descendants of this Robert BOAK are known to be in Great Britain, Canada, and the United States. * * * * * This site is for any BOAK (and spelling variations) lineage.
