This patrilineal BLIGH-BLY surname Y-DNA study is designed to test the Y-DNA profiles Oof members of the men with the various spelling of this name throughout the world.
Blei, Bley, Bleigh, BLigh, Blighe, Bly, Blye, Blyth, & Blythe.
If your surname is on the list above, we are most interested in having you participate in our Y-DNA male surname testing program. All variant spellings are welcome. If your surname is missing and should be included, we will be glad to add it to our surname list.
Our goal, ultimately, is to find the common links and where possible the earliest known forefather/fathers of the various branches of the Bligh, Bley and Bly families and all the variant spellings of the name. We will be able to do this by collecting the Y-DNA test results provided to this project by members, thus finding our common ancestors.
