The BLEVINS, BLEVENS surname project seeks to determine which families with these surnames are closely related via Y-DNA testing. In many cases, relationships cannot be determined due to loss of primary source material in the many areas where these families have resided. Another goal would be to see if there is a connection to other surnames that seem to have a common derivation (such as BLIVEN, BLIFFENS). This is an open invitation to all representative male members with these surnames in order to accomplish these goals.
